Skadi is a stunning Paraphidippus fartilis female with the beautiful coloration characteristic of females of this species. Her face and legs are covered in dense silvery-white setae, while her abdomen carries bold black markings with a gorgeous green shimmer woven through the darker areas.

Beyond her looks, Skadi is an exceptionally friendly girl and has been wonderful to work with.

ABOUT HER MATE

Drama is a handsome Paraphidippus fartilis male with the classic appearance of a mature male of the species: sleek black coloration with a beautiful metallic green shimmer.

His name, however, has absolutely nothing to do with his appearance. Drama earned his name because if you don't pick him up when he wants to be picked up, he becomes extremely dramatic about it, complete with enthusiastic leg flailing until he gets your attention.

Despite the theatrics, Drama is an incredibly friendly little guy and very comfortable interacting with people.

TEMPERAMENT

Both Skadi and Drama are exceptionally friendly spiders. They are comfortable interacting with people and have been an absolute pleasure to work with.

WHAT WE'RE HOPING FOR

With Skadi and Drama, we're hoping for a healthy generation of Paraphidippus fartilis that showcases the beautiful natural characteristics of this species.

As they mature, we expect the females to develop the gorgeous silvery-white coloration, darker markings, and green shimmer characteristic of adult females, while the males should develop the sleek black coloration and metallic green shimmer characteristic of adult males.

With both parents being exceptionally friendly, we're also very interested to see the temperaments of their offspring as they grow.

EXPECTED APPEARANCE

Females: Predominantly silvery-white with contrasting black markings and metallic green shimmer within the darker areas.

Males: Predominantly black with beautiful metallic green shimmer.

Juvenile appearance will change as the spiders grow and mature.
